Setting up in any sort of business can be challenging: apart from the skills you offer as a business, you need to learn how to write the business plan, sell your ideas, keep records, manage a budget and market products. Yet, it is well worth for the freedom it gives you to be your own boss, and develop new and exciting ideas.

This project is here to help anyone in Stevenage and North Hertfordshire who wants to set up in business for themselves or to develop a Social Enterprise business. The funding for this project comes from the Phoenix Development Fund of the UK Government’s Small Business Service.

It will provide free guidance and advice and has staff specialising in assisting women, young people and ethnic minorities and those interested in social and community projects.
